We're sending you this reminder in case you missed our previous newsletter in the holiday rush.

Poco is hosting two events next week: a wonderful winery tasting on the 17th and a very special Champagne Brunch on the 20th. We're very excited about both these events, and we want to be sure you didn't miss the news.

--- Special Champagne Brunch - July 20

We are hosting a very special Champagne Brunch on July 20th starting with a pre-brunch reception at 11:30a.m.

There are still spots available for this event, which is Chef Ryan Wreyford's first wine-pairing event at Poco. He has presented more than 100 wine-pairing dinners in his career, and we expect great things for this brunch.

In between courses, you'll hear a small story about the wine pairings from Peter and our friend Tom Garland, a highly respected Wine Steward. Ryan will also speak about each course, and he might even give away a little secret about how a course can be made at home!!

Here is the menu Ryan has planned:

Chilled Melon Soup with Spot Prawn and Jalapeno Creme Fraiche
Dungeness Crab Cake Benedict
Summer Fruit Parfait
Pork Belly Confit with a Curry-Yogurt Emulsion
Strawberry Shortcake

What a way to spend a quiet, summer afternoon! Great Food and Great Bubbles!

To reserve your spot, please RSVP soon as we are limiting the number of guests to only 20 this time. Price is $70 (includes tax and gratuity).

--- Wine Tasting - Domaine Pierre Noire - July 17, 530pm - 830pm

On Thursday, July 17 Poco welcomes Alexis and Juliet Pouillon, the owners and winemakers at Domaine Pierre Noire, an up-and-coming boutique winery located in the beautiful Columbia Gorge appelation. These are delicious wines from a fascinating new Washington Winery.

Wines will be available for purchase at a special discount the night of the tasting. There will be a $5 cost for the tasting. We'll apply that as a discount to any wine you might choose to buy.
